Away from the mainstream modern way of living — one that depletes both people and the planet — and toward a way of life centered on "life" itself: joy, connection, warmth. Here, we unlearn old patterns, learn new ways of being, and meet all kinds of people — imagining and creating together. I've been here many times myself, but putting it into words again... I think this is what kind of place it is 💛 I've arrived a little ahead of the group — the participants for this second round of the program arrive in about two weeks! I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of time we'll share.

I loved how they implement craftsmanship, permaculture, the Japanese “Miyawaki” method… and genuinely respect the people building this place 🥰 愛情たっぷりに地元の材料だけで作られ、地域の人、そして世界中の人たちに開かれた小さな食べられる森が、バリにあります🥥 なんと、まだできて3年ちょっと！
One of the most captivating scenes in Bali, and what makes this island so unique is the beautiful daily offerings you see everywhere… in temples, homes, cafes, restaurants, and even on the streets 😊 They are traditionally handwoven from young coconut leaves (there are hundreds of ways to weave the base!!) and the colorful flowers represent different deities associated with each direction. Making canang sari for my second and third time reminded me of the beauty of everyday devotion… And of the Balinese philosophy “Tri Hita Karana” — living in harmony with the divine, nature, and one another 🌿 Thank you for the wonderful opportunity!!
